Gourmet Beer and Wine Dinner Tuesday, April 22nd

6:30 pm (reception), 7:00 (dinner)

 

MENU:

Appetizer: Trio of WI cheeses, imported olives,and raw organic nuts paired with Sauvignon Blanc and Marquette Pilsner

Salad: orgaic micro field greens with heirloom tomatoes, avocado, carrots, and lemongrass vinaigrette paired with riesling and Houdini Honey Wheat

Soup: Cream of wild mushroom paired with Pinot noir and English Six Grain Ale

Entree: Duet of Bone-in, hand-cut filet mignon and Hawaiian pumpkin Striped Swordfish accompanied by two sauces (Boursin Espagnole and strawberry buerre blanc) with whipped klondike Red Rose potatoes with bleu cheese and haricot verts and pearl onions. Paired with Cabernet Sauvignon and Tilted Kilt Scottish Ale

Dessert: fresh berry tart served with Tawny port and Berry Wheat Ale

 

$40 per person in advance and $45 per person at the door.

BEER SCHOOL is a fun and relaxing evening where we STUDY a different beer style or beer region every month. The CLASS lasts about 2 hours and we will sample 9 to 10 beers throughout the evening. Chef Brady always dazzles our STUDENTS with a wonderfully paired meal to accent the nuances of the beers STUDIED. No brewing knowledge is necessary, just a taste for good microbrews and imported beers. Tuition is $30.00 ($35.00 for Belgian Beers) per STUDENT and includes the beer samples, Dinner and several chances to win prizes, sign up via e-mail or call the restaurant at 731-3322.
